It's nice that I can be there for you
when you feel like there's no one you could talk to.
I'll listen patiently and tell you that everything will be okay
That you're still in His good graces
and He's just probably giving you a challenge
to see how far you can go.

You probably know by now
that He works in inexplicable ways
And maybe, just so you don’t feel complacent,
He’d give you something to think about
But He wouldn’t do it just to give you a hard time
Perhaps it’s His way of getting a reaffirmation from you.

Believe me, He'll come through for you
He always has and always will
You just have to keep the faith
And when you've almost given up,
He'll make things happen
And you'll get so much more
Than what you actually asked for.

Miracles do happen.
